Akpami?

Born on 15th August, 1956 Reverend Dr. John Esuga Akpami is the founding Pastor, Global Revival Gospel Ministries Inc. A.K.A. Christian Teaching Centre, Zaria, Kaduna State . Reverend Dr John Esuga Akpami became born again at young age (14 year old). Based on the existing statement that he knew God early in life. When he noticed the call of God upon his life, he responded. In 1983, he encountered the Lord while he was praying in his closet during the days of his medical practice. His encounter with the Lord led him to start a mini bible study group with some people within his environment. Dr. John Akpami was committed to this vision and he began to mature people in Christ through small group bible study. The reward of good work is more responsibility. This small bible study grew such that in the year 1987, Dr. John Akpami pioneered a revival ministry in the North called Christian Teaching Centre (CTC), which was later reviewed to Christian Teaching Center Family Church. The ministry is located in Kaduna state (Zaria). The ministry is committed to the vision of equipping believers for impactful ministry until the glory of God fills the earth. The ministry recently completed her auditorium sited in Kuregu-Wussasa, Zaria. Estimated with a capacity of sitting 5,000 persons, this auditorium is the said to be one of the largest (if not the largest) in the northern Nigeria. Rev Dr. John Akpami has raised many Apostles and ministers in ministry through discipleship. A dominant example is Apostle Arome Osayi who has declared severally via his social media handles that Dr. Akpami is his spiritual father. Others include Apostle Frank Abu (Porthacort), Apostle Ele Adejoh (Abuja), Apostle Joseph Rims (Jos), Rev. Bankole Andrew Abioye (Kano), Rev. Damian Odoje, and lots more. Rev. Dr. John Akpami holds yearly conference tagged: International Ministers’ Forum (IMF) and his church holds the famous annual International Overcomers Convention (IOC). Some of the ministers who spoke during past conventions and conferences were: Prof. Mossy Madugba, Apsotle Arome Osayi, Dr. Clara Akpami, Bishop Mike Akpami, Dr. S. O. Daramola, Evng. Matthew Owojiaye, Rev. Elijah (south Africa), Rev. Olusola Areogun, and host of others. Global Revival Gospel Ministries International has it’s headquarters in Zaria Nigeria. The church has branches in other parts of the world. The church also established Global Revival Bible Training institutes, a diploma and a degree awarding bible school that has trained and graduated several church leaders and ministers. Rev Dr. John Akpami has authored more than fifty (50) books. Rev. Dr. John Akpami holds a doctorate degree (Ph.D) in pastoral theology from Evangel Christian university U.S.A. Dr. John Akpami is a seasoned teacher of God's word and a 21st century leader. He currently focuses on mentoring and grooming of younger ministers.
